May is National Mental Health Awareness Month

Dear SVHS Friends and Families,

May is National Mental Health Awareness Month.  With that in mind, I would like to remind all our families, teachers, and students to take a break.  Remember to take care of yourself by going for a walk, playing a game, eating dinner together, putting down the electronic devices, and spending some quality time together.  I would also like to remind you that West Valley cares about you and your mental health.  If you need any resources I hope you will reach out through our Parent Hotline (509) 340-7235 or send an email to me at [email protected].  I would like to end this letter with a quote I found, “You take care of yourself, so you can take care of others.” We thank and appreciate you for allowing us to help your students learn and grow.

Sincerely,

Russ Aley-Parent Engagement Liaison.
